Hello!

This is Joydeep Pramanik. I have been a teacher for the last 12 years and have provided excellent results for my students consistently year after year through my coaching institute. I have always stood for social causes and for the needy at a personal level.

As most of the private teachers have suffered financial crisis in the covid pandemic, I am no exception. In the pandemic, I came to know about the IIT Madras degree programme in programming and data science. I appeared for the entrance and cracked it in the highest slab.

As I am from general category, I could not avail any fee waiver from the institute.

I was hoping to avail education loan as IIT is a premiere institute but the banks say that it's not possible as the mode of education is online. But if IIT Madras does a tie up with the banks then it's possible. As of now there is no such information.

The fee for the 3 yr course is approximately 2.5 lakh excluding other expenses like travelling to the test centre city and staying there every month for my exams.

I am writing this message with a heavy heart and I seek help from people to donate and support my education. We teachers are not sure about what is going to happen to us in the coming session also, as far as the restrictions about covid are concerned. We have had to shut down our institutes also as they were locked through out the session.

Please help as per your wish.
