Support for Medical Treatment (Spine Tuberculosis)

My wife Vandana is suffering from Spine Tuberculosis since 2 years. With increasing back pain slowly she became completely bed ridden and could not walk without support. Currently maximum she manages to sit 205 to 35 minutes at a stretch. Biopsy's & MRI's confirmed it was Tuberculosis.

She is also suffering from Polycystic Kidney's in addition but currently the major issue is because of the back pain due to Spine TB, so the treatment is going for the same. Although the TB in biopsy showed that it is Non MDR, but when the medication started it did not showed any positive response so after 9-10 months MDR TB treatment was started.

When the medicines did not showed any results, few orthopedics suggested surgery (costing approx 2.5 to 3.5 lacs) and some doctor's said to continue with improvisation in medication conducting MRIs and Blood Tests alongside. Kanamycin injections where given for 3 months in addition to the Tuberculosis course.

Currently although the surgery is delayed, medications and antibiotics like MONOPAS etc are given by doctor's as an experiment to see if it shows any positive improvement.

After the back pain increased and the condition went critical I had to resign from my Job to look after my wife, kid and family.

Since the treatment has started (In Pathology & Lab Tests) :- Till now almost 6 MRI's, 3 sonography, 2 Biopsy's, One Puss Test, 3 times Puss Aspiration, 2 XRAY & almost 11 Blood tests have been conducted. This tests will continue until complete improvement is seen.

Keeping aside the home expenses, if only the Medicine treatment cost is considered ( Even if the surgery is done or not) in either case the monthly TB treatment requires:- Tuberculosis Medicines, Regular Blood tests, MRI's and various doctors consultations like Pulmonologist and Orthopedics.

Hence I opted this crowd funding platform for support so that the treatment can be done smoothly.
