Support the family of Virender Paswan

On 6th of October, Street hawker Virender Paswan of Bhagalpur, Bihar was shot dead by terrorists at Lal Bazar area in Srinagar, Kashmir..

Virendra Paswan, left home in Bhagalpur, Bihar to make ends meet with a pani-puri stall in Srinagar. Murdered cowardly by Terrorists on Tuesday night. Last rites of Virendra Paswan were held in Srinagar, as the family could not afford to take his body to Bhagalpur, Bihar from Kashmir. No one attended the last rites of Virendra Paswan.

Many claimed that the family of Virendra Paswan was Ok with the Cremation of Virendra Paswan at Kashmir but his Wife Putul Devi said that she wanted to see her husband's face for one last time before cremation, but no one helped.

No Dalit leaders who claim themselves as the flag bearers of dalit rights came ahead for the poor Virendra Paswan.

This fundraiser is to support the wife of Virender Paswan and his family of 4 daughters and 2 sons. Out of the four daughters, one is married and two others are studying in Class 6 and 12 respectively. Both sons are in school; one in Class 10 and another – Vikram, quoted at the beginning of the piece – in Class 12. He leaves behind his illiterate widow wife to support the family. We must ensure that he gets justice, while we understand that no money can bring back a life, but the funds raised will help the family sustain hardship & will come to the immediate assistance of the family. Please support generously!
