Mission Possible Foundation

Mission Possible Foundation is an NGO (Regd. No. E-7210/ P dated 13/07/2015) with a noble cause to create a safe haven for Injured, Abandoned, Sick & Abused Stray Dogs & Cats from Pune city.

The Mission Possible Foundation, commenced with a selfless service to take care of the “Injured, Abandoned, Sick, Abused Stray Dogs & Cats” of Pune city in July 2006. This philanthropic endeavor was started by the dedicated animal lover Mrs. Padmini Stump, animal rights activist & Dr. Ravi Kasbekar , a well-known Cancer surgeon. The following is the picture of the Shelter at Jhadavwadi, Saswad.

The primary activity of the this foundation is rescuing the Injured, Abandoned, Sick, Abused, Stray Dogs & Cats of Pune city and provide a safe shelter to them, where they are operated, treated, fed, vaccinated to keep them healthy till they are adopted by a pet lover.

Till date the Mission Possible Foundation has rescued and given out for adaption atleast 4000 dogs. At present there are 700 rescued dogs at the Mission Possible Shelter located at Jhadavwadi Near Pune, Maharashtra.

Presently the activities are being funded primarily by the trustees themselves. The trustees of Mission Possible are Dr Ravi Kasbekar, Ms Padmini Stump, Mr Vikram Boke, Mr Sunder Hattangady, Dr Jey Bharat, Mrs Shernaz Punekar and Mr Mahindra Jain.

We intend to extend the facility at Jhadavwadi by construction a new shelter. This will ensure that we can rescue and accommodate more dogs and cat.We want to reach out to people, who would like to contribute to the cause. With the funds raised we would like to create a new shelters.

Heartwarming Story in Pictures

This is a three month old Greatdane puppy. He was found on the road dying and was brought to us in a very bad condition.

Our team swung into action and proper medical treatment was initiated after which he totally recovered. He was now ready for adoption.

Finally, he was adopted by a family and this cute little chap is now happily residing with them. Here is the pic of the family who adopted him.
