Support SinghaBahini Medical Initiative For The Less Privileged

Background:

The COVID-19 situation in West Bengal has left most hospitals filled with COVID patients. This alarming situation has left little room for non-COVID patients to seek medical treatment. At the same time, many extremely poor non-COVID patients with other ailments are running around seeking help. Recently we had a case of a gallbladder stone which requires immediate surgery. The stone in the patient is moving towards the pancreas making the need for surgery even more urgent. This surgery can now be conducted in a private nursing home as government hospitals are completely overwhelmed. The cost of the surgery is around Rs. 70,000. This is just one of the many cases coming forward. From breast cancer to pregnancy issues, many cases are coming daily. Also before going for the surgery, compulsory COVID-19 tests are a must. Many are seeking help to do COVID-19 tests which costs Rs. 5000. Many poor people are coming to us for help as they are aware of our previous voluntary social efforts where SinghaBahini had helped to feed over one lakh less privileged people.  Seeing the enormity of the crisis, we have decided to start this fundraiser to help the poorest of the poor in the state with medical help. Every case we attend will be mentioned to maintain transparency of our efforts. Kindly donate in this very life saving effort.

Goal of the campaign:

SinghaBahini has been working on grass root levels over the years to stop human trafficking and empowering the less privileged women in West Bengal.

We keep getting requests for help from the less privileged with their medical treatments. We've kept the goal amount of Rs 5 Lakhs as per the requests we've got so far, but as the requests rise up during this pandemic we will raise the goal amount. The updates on the medical health of the patients treated will be shared on the update section regularly.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help the underprivileged women with their medical treatments.
