Background

Through a landmark order by the honorable Supreme Court of India cattle seized by BSF are no longer auctioned. Thousands of cattle are now saved from meeting a bitter end at the hands of traffickers. Dhyan foundation is the ONLY organization, as per BSF, which is rehabilitating and nurturing the cattle saved by them from smugglers at Indo-Bangladesh border. Since November 2018, we have successfully rehabilitated over 25000 BSF rescues, without government or any other help. We have gaushalas in nearly every state of India - no milking cows, only bulls and old and infirm cows, all saved from cattle mafia and butchers.

Goal Of this Campaign

Dhyan Foundation has taken up the MASSIVE task of helping the Border Security Force (at the Indo-Bangladesh border) in rehabilitating cows, bulls and calves of all age groups which were rescued from butcher's smuggling them out of the country.  About 25,000 cattle have been rescued by the BSF  and handed over to Dhyan Foundation.

These Cattle are housed at Dhyan Foundation's gaushalas across the country.

This campaign aims to raise funds for fodder for the cattle.

To nurture and sustain the cattle rescued by BSF, to end cattle smuggling and the pain of animals.

What we NEED

We have around 25,000 cattle at our Gaushalas. The daily fodder expense comes to roughly Rs 70 per cow/ bull. We need your support to feed these rescued Cattle.
