A Revived Sanskrit School needs Re-Furbishing!

The Sanskrit School that was revived with crowdfunding support in 2019 needs renovation of other buildings in the Ashram.

We are glad to announce that we have successfully completed the phase 1 of building that we had collected the funds for.

With The Supreme Lord – Lord Narayana’s Will and Emperumaanar Ramanuja and Periya Jeeyar Manavala Mamuni’s Grace we had inaugurated the phase 1 of the building on February 14, 2022.

With the supreme being – Lord Sriman Narayana’s support and will which in turn has cascaded as yours, we were able to accomplish this.

In this phase 1 of our project, we have successfully built a safe enclosure for some children of our Anandashrama. Come heavy rains or Scorching sun, our children will now be safe and sound concentrating on their Vedic studies.

We once again request your esteemed support for our phase 2 of the project. The objective of Phase 2 of the project are as below.

1.  Bring all children under one roof – Have complete residential quarters for children.

2.  Build classrooms and dining hall for children.

3.  Build a safe enclosure for cows.

4.  Build a Library with a store-room.

5.  Build a Kitchen and Staff Quarters. As this is a remote area with less markets and even less buildings to stay in. This becomes even more crucial.

As of right now, the maintenance cost is alone Rs. 400000 per month. The entire cost of a pupil's stay, education, food, clothing and stationery is complimentary.

Right now, we have 60 students with us for this academic year. With every year, the number of students increase. Along with Sanskrit, the pupils are taught regular school subjects and appear for state board exams. In addition to the above, they are taught cooking, driving, gardening and other vocational skills.

We have a plan to upgrade our premises to junior college later if viable at that point of time.
