Background :

Niraj Ram Prajapati was attacked with an iron rod and stones while he was passing through a locality dominated by a particular community in Amla Toli, Lohardaga (Jharkhand) as part of a pro-CAA rally. He is survived by two young kids and a wife. His father, a retired teacher, is paralysed and mother is dependent on the family.

He was admitted to the hospital right after the attack on him, he kept fighting for his life. He succumbed to his injuries yesterday.

About the family :

By profession he was a painter and a sculptor, he used to make Ma Saraswati's Murtis. He is survived by two young kids and a wife. His father, a retired teacher, is paralysed and mother is dependent on the family. The family could hardly arrange funds for his funeral.

Goal of the campaign :

Neeraj Prajapati was a nationalist and stood for the CAA bill. He was unfortunately killed for participating in a pro-CAA rally.

He leaves behind a void for his family : his wife and two young kids, mother and a paralyzed father. The death of the primary earning member pushes his family back by many years. The goal of this campaign is to raise INR Twenty Five lakh for the immediate assistance of Shri Neeraj's family. The money collected will be transferred to Mr Neeraj wife’s account as soon as the goal of this campaign is met.
